This Cream Cheese Pumpkin Dip recipe makes a great fresh fruit dip for a Thanksgiving or fall snack idea when apples are plenty. You can use other favourite fruits instead of, or in addition to apples. Pears are ripe around the same time as apples, so pears are a great idea too!

DirectionsAdd the cream cheese and the pumpkin puree to a medium size bowl, and beat together with an electric hand mixer, until well combined and smooth. Gradually, add the icing sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and the ginger, and continue to mix until well combined. If desired, to thin the fruit dip, add the whipping cream as needed, (optional). Dip prepared apple slices, pears, and other fruit of your choice. Refrigerate for a few hours prior to serving, and store any left-over dip in the refrigerator.
