Butterscotch Fondue Dipping Suace

This Dessert Fondue Recipe makes a delectable butterscotch dipping sauce to be used for a dessert to dip fresh fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, peaches, melons, kiwi, pineapple, apples, bananas, and grapes.

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter

2/3 cup whipping cream, not whipped

1 1/2 cup corn syrup

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

In a small pan, over medium low heat, combine the butter, whipping cream, corn syrup and the brown sugar while stirring constantly to avoid sticking and burning.

When well combined, add the vanilla extract, remove the mixture from the heat and transfer to a fondue bowl or pot.

Dip a variety of prepared fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, peaches, melons, kiwi, pineapple, apples, bananas, and grapes.

In addition to dipping fresh fruit, a great idea is to include other fun foods to dip such as biscotti, pound cake, macaroons, pretzels, marshmallows, and more!
