Dessert Fondue Recipe Butterscotch Fondue
This Easy Dessert Fondue Recipe makes a fabulous dessert idea, or use it for a party fruit fondue sauce. This easy recipe includes common ingredients that you probably already have on hand.
Ingredients1/4 cup butter 2/3 cup whipping cream, unwhipped 1 1/2 cup corn syrup 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract Directions In a small pan, over medium low heat, combine the butter, whipping cream, corn syrup and the brown sugar while stirring constantly to avoid sticking and burning. When well combined, add the vanilla extract, remove the mixture from the heat and transfer to a fondue bowl or pot. Dip a variety of prepared fruit such as raspberries, strawberries, peaches, melons, kiwi, pineapple, apples, bananas, and grapes. In addition to dipping fresh fruit, a great idea is to include other dippables such as biscotti, pound cake, macaroons, pretzels, marshmallows, and more!
