You can prepare it in the microwave or on the stove top. Transfer it to the fondue, and if it thickens, reheat it by microwaving it for about 10 seconds and then return it to the fondue heat source.

Ingredients

2 milk chocolate bars (100 grams, each)
6 tbsps. espresso or strong coffee

*In addition to fresh fruit, biscotti, pound cake and almond macaroons are make great "dippables".

Directions

Stove-top Method:
Break the chocolate bars into pieces and put them in a saucepan with the espresso.

Over low heat, stir until the ingredients are smooth and combined.

If the resulting sauce is too thick, add a few drops of water and stir to blend.

Transfer sauce to fondue bowl.

Microwave Method:
Break the chocolate bars into pieces and put them in a microwave safe bowl with the espresso.

Microwave for 10 to 20 seconds, stir, then microwave again. Repeat with small bursts in the microwave and mixing in between.Do this until the mixture is well blended.

Transfer sauce to fondue bowl.

Serves 4.

raspberries strawberries bananas grapes peaches blueberries pineapple kiwi melon and more!!

around the Fruit Fondue!
