Cherry Raspberry Cobbler Recipe Best Fruit Cobbler Recipe
This Cherry Raspberry Cobbler makes a beautiful dessert served warm with a dollop of whipped cream! It is sort of like a deep-dish fruit pie, but less messy and easier to make:-)! You can make this cobbler with red or black raspberries, or wild raspberries, if you are fortunate enough to have them on hand!
Ingredients1 pint raspberries 1 pound sour cherries, pitted 2/3 cup granulated sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tsps. baking powder 1 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 1/4 cup milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. grated orange rind (optional) 1 1/2 cups whipping cream 2 tbsps. confectioners' sugar 1/4 tsp. butter Directions Butter a 2 quart baking dish, and toss the raspberries and the cherries together with the 2/3 cup sugar.
