Simple desserts with a bowl of berries and cream are very easy dessert recipes which combine different types of cream and fresh, delectable raspberries into intensely flavoured desserts!







Dessert recipes do not have to be labour intensive, and full of different ingredients to be extremely tasty and attractive ... these recipes prove it!


Recipe #1 - Raspberries and Thickened Cream

Fresh Raspberries and Cream ImageYummy! Fresh Berries and Cream!

Ingredients

1 pint (2 cups) fresh, ripe raspberries
1/2 pint (1 cup) heavy cream
3 tbsps. sour cream
sugar

Directions

Gently wash raspberries, and scatter on paper towels to dry.

Stir the heavy cream into the sour cream and let rest at room temperature.

Serve the raspberries in dessert cups, and top with the thickened cream and sugar.

So Easy AND tasty!


Recipe #2 - Raspberries and Sour Cream

Fresh Raspberries and Sour Cream DessertLovely Fresh Berries and Sour Cream!

Ingredients

1 pint (2 cups) fresh, ripe raspberries
1 pint (2 cups) sour cream
1 - 2 tbsps. granulated sugar

Directions

Gently wash raspberries, and scatter on paper towels to dry.

Stir the sour cream and sugar together, and let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Just before serving, gently, (so as not to cruch them too much), fold in the fresh raspberries.







Recipe #3 - Berries with Heavy Cream and Sour Cream

Fresh raspberries and creamRaspberries and Cream - dessert doesn't get much easier than this!

 ~  This recipe is a Crémé Fraiche "Fool" type of cream.

Ingredients

1/2 pint (1 cup) heavy cream
1/2 pint (1 cup) sour cream

Directions

Gently wash raspberries, and scatter on paper towels to dry.

Combine the two creams and let them thicken at room temperature 2 to 3 hours before serving.

Just before serving, gently, (so as not to cruch them too much), fold in the fresh raspberries.
