This easy to make, healthy Raspberry Frozen Drink Recipe is a family favourite!
Each summer the kids ask: "Mom, when are you going to make Frozen Drink?" It is truly unique and refreshing on a hot summer day or evening.
This recipe makes a large batch of frozen drink, which we keep in the freezer, and whenever we feel like a special treat of this amazing slush drink, we simply scoop what we need, and return the container with the drink to the freezer for the next time:)
2 cans frozen orange juice concentrate (approx. 12.5 oz.)
1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
5 medium size bananas
1 large can pineapple juice (approx. 1.36 litre)
1 can frozen pink lemonade (approx. 12.5 size)
2 cups granulated sugar (you can use up to 4 cups, but I use 2 cups)
6 cups water
ginger-ale or another carbonated soda drink
Combine the ingredients, in batches, in a blender or a food processor.
Pour into a very large bowl to combine.
Freeze in one large or several small freezer safe containers.
Before serving, using an ice cream scoop, scoop two scoopfuls into a large serving glass, add ginger-ale or another carbonated soda.
Serve with a spoon and a straw.
So refreshing, simple and fun!!
ENJOY your Raspberry Frozen Slush Drink!
