Raspberry Ice Cream Recipe

(5 Minutes to Prepare)

This very easy, Raspberry Ice Cream Recipe for Dessert takes only 5 minutes to make, then freeze it until ready to serve! You can make this treat with red or black raspberries, or both! If it is made a day or more in advance, remove it from the freezer at least 5 minutes before serving. This recipe uses pre-made vanilla ice cream as an ingredient, so it is much quicker than making the ice cream from start to finish, (beginning with cream and milk), but..the taste is amazing...why not give it a try?

Ingredients

1 pound frozen raspberries
1 can (approx. 12 oz. size) frozen pink lemonade concentrate
4 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

Directions

In a food processor, or a blender (fitted with a metal blade), process the frozen raspberries, until slushy.

While processing with the on/off motion, so as not to over load the machine, add the frozen lemonade concentrate and continue to blend until mixed.

In a large bowl, stir the raspberry mixture into the ice cream, until well combined.

Cover the ice cream, and freeze until firm, at least 3 hours.

Makes 8 to 10 servings.

Have you ever noticed how many different ice cream scoops are available to buy? I have tried many different types of scoops, but the ONLY one I use, since I have found it to work the best for making nice, round, and uniform ice cream servings, is the one pictured above. It is ertainly worth owning one of these amazing scoops for ice cream, and for sorbet too!

*Note - the one at the top right is for Vegan Diets
