Raspberry Scone Recipe
With White Chocolate

This Raspberry Scone Recipe with White Chocolate is easy and so very delectable! Berries and chocolate mix well together in this amazing recipe! You can substitute any type of berry in place of the raspberries in this recipe. If you are looking for a scone recipe with fruit for breakfast, brunch, tea time, or snack time, here is a great one to use!

Ingredients

3/4 cup plain yogurt
1 egg
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsps. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar (can use less)
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup fresh red raspberries (or black raspberries)

Directions

In a bowl, mix the yogurt and the egg and set aside.

In another, large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Cut the margarine into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs, and then add the sugar.

Add the yogurt and the egg mixture.

Add the white chocolate and the raspberries.

Form into rough triangles (about 6 inches).

Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until starting to turn brown.

When still warm, brush with melted butter or margarine and sprinkle with sugar. Or, mix lemon juice and icing sugar and drizzle over the scones.

Enjoy!!
