Frozen Peach and Raspberry Dessert
This Raspberry Sorbet Recipe is a quick and easy dessert or snack that can be made with any combination of fruit you or your kids can think up! If you keep fruit in your freezer...you are always ready to go!
Ingredients3 peaches, ripe but firm ---peeled, pitted and sliced (about 2 cups) 1/2 cup raspberries Syrup Ingredients 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup water 1 strip lemon rind Directions Freeze peach slices and raspberries in a single layer for at least 2 hours or until solid. Store the peaches and raspberries in freezer bags or air-tight containers. Syrup Directions In a small saucepan, bring the sugar, water and lemon rind to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Boil for 1 minute, then let cool completely and remove the rind. In a food processor (or blender)process frozen fruit, pouring in syrup slowly, until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes.
