Homemade Holiday Cocktail
With Fresh OR Frozen Raspberries

Here is an Absolut Raspberry Vodka Recipe for a homemade raspberry cocktail to make with fresh or frozen raspberries.

This recipe makes the perfect Berry Holiday Drink, with it's natural "red" colour!

I adapted this recipe dapted from one which I found today in our local newspaper.

I thought I would share this recipe for those who visit this website and are looking for this type of drink for the holidays.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. Absolut or Absolut Raspberry Vodka

1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

1/4 oz. lime juice

1/4 oz. simple syrup

Recipe for Simple Syrup:

Take 1 cup boiling water, and 1 cup granulated sugar, and stir the two until the sugar has totally dissolved.

Cool syrup to room temperature. Cover, and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Directions

Add all the above ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake and strain into a martini glass.

Garnish with fresh raspberries, if desired.

FUN TIP  -  Frost the rims of the glasses by brushing them with lemon juice and then dipping them in sugar.

Let the rims dry until ready to serve. You can also use "salt" instead of sugar.
