Milk or Yogurt Soy Smoothies with Fruit Best Breakfast Smoothie Ideas

Here are two Soy Smoothies made with soy milk and soy yogurt, "Breakfast Soy Smoothie", and "Chocolate Soy Smoothie". The ingredients can be altered if you wish to change the fruits. For example, you can substitute "blueberries" instead "cherries". Be creative, and make your own recipes!

Remember, smoothies are scrumptiously delicious, and healthy to drink! Smoothies are considered healthy drinks because they are typically packed with the vitamins and nutrients needed to maintain a healthy balanced diet. These smoothies are an easy way of making sure our kids, (and everyone!), receive essential nutrients. Why not make one today?

GO to Smoothie TIPS - How to Make the Best Smoothie

These soy smoothie recipes make enough for two smoothies. If you want to make a smoothie for one person, simply reduce the ingredients...or, make a smoothie to freeze, and enjoy your smoothie the next day!

Recipe #1 - Breakfast Soy Smoothie

*Note - If you are using frozen berries, you probably do not need to include the ice cubes.

Ingredients

10 strawberries
1/2 cup red and/or black raspberries
10 cherries
1 banana
1/2 cup soy yogurt
1 cup soy milk
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 tbsp. whey powder, optional

Directions

In a blender combine the soy milk, soy yogurt and banana, (and whey powder, if desired), and blend until well combined.

Add the strawberries, raspberries, and the cherries, and blend again.

Add the ice and blend until desired consistency.

Serve immediately.

Makes 1 - 2 scrumptious soy smoothies.

Recipe #2 - Chocolate Soy Smoothie

*Note - If you are using fresh raspberries, you should include about 1/2 cup of ice in the ingredients.

Ingredients

3/4 cup chocolate flavoured soy milk
3/4 chocolate sorbet (or ice cream)
1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries
1 banana, sliced

Directions

In a blender combine the soy milk, chocolate sorbet, raspberries, and the banana, and blend until smooth.

Serve immediately.

Makes 2 "lip smacking" smoothies.
