Did you know that raspberries not only have amazing flavour, but did you know that they are loaded with antioxidant activity too? Antioxidants help to prevent certain diseases from harming our body.
Oxidation reactions can produce what are referred to as "free radicals", which start chain reactions that damage cells. Antioxidants help to stop these chain reactions by removing free radical intermediates, and inhibit other oxidation reactions by being oxidized themselves. So, including raspberries, and other berries, for example, strawberries and blueberries in your diet, is a "berry good idea!". GO to Berries and Antioxidant Activity
