The combination of peaches and blackberries with the raspberries makes a wonderful and refreshing drink!

A Homemade Smoothie made with Raspberries, Blackberries, Peaches -- use fresh OR frozen fruit and optional whey!Homemade Smoothie Made with Peaches, Raspberries and Blackberries

You can use fresh or frozen fruit for this smoothie drink!

If you are using frozen fruit, you do not need to add the ice cubes.

Be creative ... if you have additional berries on hand to use ... mix them in too ... remember ... when creating a smoothie the possibilities are endless!

This recipe makes about 5 1/2 cups, enough for about 2 large smoothies.

If you wish to make smoothies for a large group of people, simply adjust the measurements, or, in most cases it's simpler just to make the smoothies in several batches.

Note - some people do not care for drinks which have not had the seeds of the raspberries removed.

However, keep in mind that even the seeds of these berries are nutritious, and it is in your best interest to use the whole raspberry ... the seeds and all!

Ingredients

1/2 cup red raspberries
1/2 cup blackberries
2 cups sliced peaches
3/4 cup milk (can be skim milk)
1 1/2 cups peach yogurt (or plain yogurt)
1 cup ice
2 tbsp. whey powder (optional)

Directions

Crush the ice in a blender with a little of the milk.

Add the yogurt, the remaining milk and the peaches (and whey powder if desired) and blend until almost smooth.

Add the blackberries and the raspberries, and continue to blend until desired consistency is attained.

Pour into glasses and serve.

Makes about 5 1/2 cups.
