Raspberry Smoothie Recipe
With Optional Whey Powder

This Raspberry Smoothie is quick and easy and PURE DELIGHT! The combination of peaches and blackberries with the raspberries makes a wonderful and refreshing drink! If you are using frozen fruit, you do not need to add the ice cubes. Be creative...if you have additional berries on hand to use...mix them in too...remember...when creating a smoothie the possibilities are endless!

*Note - some people do not care for drinks which have not had the seeds of the raspberries removed. However, keep in mind that even the seeds of these berries are nutritious, and it is in your best interest to use the whole raspberry...seeds and all!

Raspberry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup red raspberries
1/2 cup blackberries
2 cups sliced peaches
3/4 cup milk (can be skim milk)
1 1/2 cups peach yogurt (or plain yogurt)
1 cup ice
2 tbsp. whey powder *optional

Directions

Crush the ice in a blender with a little of the milk.

Add the yogurt, the remaining milk and the peaches (and whey powder if desired) and blend until almost smooth.

Add the blackberries and the raspberries, and continue to blend until desired consistency is attained.

Pour into glasses and serve.

Makes about 5 1/2 cups.
