Easy Recipes for Fruit Dip Berry Fruit Dip and Fruit Sauce
Here are two Easy Recipes for Fruit Dip, a Berry Fruit Dip Recipe and a Fruit Cream Sauce Recipe for pouring over fresh fruit.
Recipe #1 - Berry Fruit Dip
This VERY Easy Fruit Dip recipe is amazing with any type of fresh berries, or other fruit slices such as pineapple, melon, cantaloupe, and bananas. You can use any leftover dip for spreading on pancakes, waffles, or toast. A berry scrumptious recipe for dipping fresh summer fruits!
*This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to serve large numbers of people.
Ingredients
1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup cream cheese (plain or "berry" cream cheese)
1/4 cup mixed berry jam (or one type berry jam)
Directions
In a blender combine the berries, cream cheese and jam, and process until mixture is smooth.
Makes about 1 cup of berry fruit dip.
Serves 2.
Recipe #2 - Fruit Sauce
This tasty fruit sauce is scrumptious spooned over strawberries, bananas, pineapple, cantaloupe, melon and any other fresh fruit slices, or you can use a mixture of fruit. This recipe serves 4, but can easily be reduced or increased in yield by halving or doubling the ingredients!
Ingredients
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
3 cups slice, fresh fruit
Directions
In a small bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the sugar and the cream cheese until smooth.
Slowly add the milk and the vanilla, beating constantly until the sugar is dissolved.
Arrange the fresh fruit into 4 serving bowls.
Spoon the fruit sauce over top of the fresh fruit.
Serves 4.
