Brunch Cocktail Recipe - Fruit Cocktail Idea for Christmas Brunch Drink

If you are searching for a Brunch Cocktail recipe for a Christmas Brunch idea, here is a fruit cocktail recipe (to make at home) for a Christmas Brunch. A special cocktail (for adults only) can elevate a simple Christmas Brunch to a new level.

After surviving the chaos of a busy Christmas morning, (the kids will be occupied and entertained with their new gifts), you may wish to enjoy a relaxing brunch including a "light" cocktail drink.

It is important that brunch cocktails be kept "light" both in sweetness and in alcoholic content. There is usually an abundance of sweet foods offered throughout the day on Christmas, (and most likely you have had your share of sweets from the day before:)

A small addition of Champagne, or sparkling wine, can provide good flavour to a drink, with a moderate alcohol content.

Ingredients

ice
1 oz. (30 ml) vodka
1/2 oz. (15 ml) orange liqueur
1 oz. (30 ml) cranberry juice
1 oz. (30 ml) cherry juice
2 - 3 fresh raspberries
Brut Champagne OR sparkling wine

Directions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and add the vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry juice and the cherry juice.

Shake, and then strain the mixture into a wine flute..

Add a few fresh raspberries to the drink, and then top with Champagne or sparkling wine.

Serves 1.
