The ice makes these smoothies frosty cold and the yogurt adds flavour and gives them a creamy texture.
Make a Smoothie for Breakfast!
6 large strawberries (or equivalent)
1 cup of raspberries
1 cup chopped/cubed pineapple
1 cup of ice (cubed or crushed)
1 cup of orange juice
1 cup of vanilla natural yogurt
Put all the above ingredients into the blender and "blast" at high speed.
Pour into glasses and serve.
Serves 3 to 4.
1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 cup of pineapple juice
2 cups of unsweetened frozen cherries
2 cups of frozen raspberries
2 cups of frozen vanilla yogurt
2 cups of ice (cubed or crushed)
Put all the above ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses.
Note - if your fruit is not frozen you can wash it and then freeze it for about 1 hour (depending on the individual size of the fruit)in your freezer, or you can just use fresh, unfrozen fruit.
