This Cherry Raspberry Cobbler Recipe makes a beautiful dessert served warm with a dollop of whipped cream!
It is sort of like a deep-dish fruit pie, but less messy and easier to make:-)!

2 tsps. baking powder
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated orange rind (optional)
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
2 tbsps. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. butter
Butter a 2 quart baking dish, and toss the raspberries and the cherries together with the 2/3 cup sugar.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and the 1 cup of sugar.

Scrape over the berries and cherries, and bake at 350° F for 1 hour.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
