This Low-Fat Fruit Dessert Recipe using fresh raspberries, blueberries and peaches makes an amazing dessert or snack recipe with fruit!
You can use strawberries or other fruit if you don't have all these on hand.

This very colourful, light, and refreshing fresh fruit dish will be sure to delight family and friends alike!
4 cups (1 quart) buttermilk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup peeled, diced fresh peaches
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, sugar, almond extract and salt, and mix well.
Gently stir in the peaches, blueberries, and then the raspberries, just to combine, and being careful not to break the raspberries too much.
Pour the above mixture into an ungreased 9" x 9" square baking dish (freezer safe).
Freeze until firm.
To serve, remove from freezer, and allow to stand at room temperature 10 - 15 minutes before cutting.
Serves 9 - 12.
Total fat per 1/12 of recipe: 1 gram.
