Ingredients

Note - If desired, put part or all of the raspberries through a sieve or a food mill to remove seeds, but ensure you have 2 cups of crushed raspberries left, (after removing the seeds), for the recipe.

1 tbsp. plain gelatin

2 cups crushed raspberries

1 tbsp. lemon juice

2 tbsp. liquid artificial sweetener

Directions

Soften the gelatin in 1/2 cup of crushed raspberries.

After 5 minutes dissolve over hot water.

Combine the gelatin mixture, the raspberries, the lemon juice and the liquid sweetener and mix well.

Pour into prepared jars or containers and seal.

This jam must be refrigerated because it does not contain any preservatives.

This Sugarless Raspberry Jam will keep in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.

Enjoy!

Did You Know?

Did you know that raspberries not only have amazing flavour, but did you know that they are loaded with antioxidant activity too?

Antioxidants help to prevent certain diseases from harming our body.

Oxidation reactions can produce what are referred to as "free radicals", which start chain reactions that damage cells.

Antioxidants help to stop these chain reactions by removing free radical intermediates, and inhibit other oxidation reactions by being oxidized themselves.

So, including raspberries, and other berries, for example, strawberries and blueberries in your diet, is a "berry good idea!".
